Gold Decorated Fan, Red and White Plum Blossoms, Painted by Mr. Taisei Sato, Takashimaya Department Store, Folding Fan with Dedicated Case and Stand, Heisei Era
40.92 $
Description
I believe this was presented as a novelty gift to Takashimaya customers in 1993.
This is a luxurious golden decorative fan painted with red and white plum blossoms by Master Taisei Sato. It comes with a dedicated stand. My grandmother carefully stored it in a paulownia chest. I've never seen it displayed, so the item itself has no particularly noticeable dirt or scratches, but the box shows signs of age-related deterioration.
It comes in a box with a diameter of 40 cm, so it is a large fan.
I would be happy if it could be enjoyed as a Japanese-style interior decoration!
