Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a fan with the inscription Fushun by Nanasei Yoneichiba, the 7th generation headmaster of Enshu-ryu Ikebana.
Nanasei Yoneichiba was an ikebana artist who succeeded the 14th generation headmaster of Enshu-ryu, Shofusousouke, in 1967 and assumed the name Nanasei Sadamatsu Yoneichiba. Fushun is said to have been the pen name used at the time of his succession, making this a valuable item related to the headmaster.
The fan surface is decorated with gold and silver, harmonizing a graceful atmosphere with powerful brushstrokes. It is perfect not only for those interested in tea ceremony or ikebana but also as a Japanese-style interior decoration.
