Antique Miniature Milk Glass Oil Lamp Green & Gold Embossed Swirls GWTW P&A Mfg

This is an antique miniature Gone with the Wind (GWTW) oil lamp made of white milk glass with embossed scroll details, hand painted green and gold leaf accents with a P&A Mfg. Co burner.  This is most likely a miniature oil lamp by Gillinder and Sons, Ltd, The Queen Miniature Lamp, circa 1896.  Has the original globe shade.  Paint is largely intact.  The burner was manufactured by Plume & Atwood Manufacturing Company (P&A Mfg. Co.) of Waterbury, Connecticut, a major brass producer established in 1869. Likely a Nutmeg burner. The dial is not functional. Most of the gold paint is worn off.  These miniature lamps were used as night lights in the Victorian era.  Similar to one pictured in the Smith book 1, figure 234 on page 117.  See photos for condition. Burner shows wear.
