Vintage Handmade Zardozi Style Velvet Coasters Set of 11 Gold Embroidery Beads  Price: $45 plus shipping  Condition: Pre-owned  Description: Vintage handmade embroidered velvet coaster set consisting of 11 round decorative coasters.  Each piece features detailed metallic gold-thread embroidery accented with colorful sequins, beads, coiled metallic trim, and velvet-covered edges. The set includes black, blue, and red/pink velvet color variations.  Each coaster measures approximately 3¼ to 3½ inches in diameter. The backs are covered with plain fabric and finished with visible hand stitching.  These appear to be Indian or Middle Eastern-inspired Zardozi-style embroidered coasters. No maker, country-of-origin label, or date was found, so the exact age and origin are unknown.  Condition: Vintage preowned condition with visible age and use. There is tarnishing and darkening to portions of the metallic embroidery, along with some fading, loose or exposed threads, bent sequins, uneven stitching, and possible missing beads or sequins.
