Japanese Painting Pomegranate Shikishi - Autumn, September, Aril, Pomegranate, Art

A Japanese painting of a pomegranate, rendered in multiple colors.

The inscription appears to read:
Kagirinaku aoki zakuro ya shōji haru
(限りなく青きざくろや障子貼る)

Meaning:
Still-green pomegranates hang on the branches,
While inside the house, shoji screens are being replaced.
This is a haiku that evokes a quiet seasonal scene.
In haiku, shōji haru (replacing shoji screens) is a winter kigo (seasonal word), stemming from the custom of replacing screens during year-end cleaning.

Is it a winter poem?
