Takahashi EM-1 Equatorial Mount (Autotracking Confirmed)

The telescope mounting part has been upgraded to a sturdy, universal Vixen-standard compatible one, so most telescopes can be attached.

The RA and Dec. rotation and fine adjustments are smooth with no play. As expected from Takahashi.

The polar scope, dark field illuminator, and other electrical systems for star tracking, etc., are all functioning perfectly.
Originally designed to be powered by 4 AA batteries, it has been modified to run on a standard USB-connected mobile battery. Please use your own mobile battery (not included).
Takahashi's power plug has the opposite polarity to the standard, so it has been converted to the common center-positive polarity using an adapter.
A 5V AC adapter is also included as a bonus.

The speed adjustment buttons on the remote control are also functional.

The polar scope has some slight fogging, but it can still clearly see faint stars. The front cap (cover) is missing as shown in the image, but this should not affect its functionality.

The counterweight is a 4kg model. However, due to concerns about rust, it has been repainted black.

As this item was used some time ago, there are some scratches and dirt on the exterior (though the main parts are clean). Please judge the condition based on the images.

As noted above, the functionality has been confirmed to be in good working order, with the exception of some cosmetic issues on the exterior.
