Bourton is our iconic men’s country shoe. These handmade shoes are a piece of Tricker's Northampton shoemaking history, and yet today they are the go-to shoe for men all around the world. The Bourton is unmistakable - a heavy Derby shoe that bears the brogue detailing synonymous with true country shoes. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the shoe to provide a water resistant seal, and the storm welt provides an additional water resistant seal between the shoe's upper and sole.  The size (length fitting) of Tricker’s footwear made on this last (4444) is larger than a regular UK size by half a size. The width is a Tricker's Width Fit 6. These shoes are suitable for wider feet. In the UK this wider fit is known as a G fitting; in the USA it is known as an E fitting; in other parts of the world, it is known as a W (wide) fitting.
