The ring shows slight change of color on the gold plated portion of it. ‼️Because it is a gold plated item, periodically you’ll have to use a tarnish cloth to keep it look looking new. I have been cleaning/polishing it before and after each use ‼️The ring will be polished before sending it to you :)
