Vintage Brown Marbled Bead Necklace Knotted Faux Mahogany Obsidian Mid Century

Vintage brown marbled beaded necklace, designed as imitation or faux mahogany obsidian style jewelry.  Made from lightweight molded plastic acrylic in a dark caramel brown base with black mottled swirls.  This necklace was a popular mid-century costume jewelry fashion accessory from the 70s or 80s.  Notice the individual knotting between each bead, a quality assembly feature designed to protect the beads from scratching together and to keep them secure if the string breaks.
