Yurin Ishikaw was a Japanese painter active from the Meiji to Showa periods, known as a prominent figure in the Nagoya art scene.
He was born the third son of Maki Ishikaw, a senior retainer of the Owari domain.
He studied the Tosa school under Chukan Sonoda and later studied the Nanboku school under Kyosai Oda.
