Paolo Gucci 1980’s runway-style earrings featuring a prominent pyramid-cut, sapphire blue cobalt glass stone framed by a geometric gold-plated hardware setting. Stamped “Paolo” on the clips and interior of earrings. Measure 1.75” x 1” with secure clips and are in excellent vintage condition.   Paolo Gucci was the grandson of Guccio Gucci (the founder of the main fashion house) and served as the chief designer and vice-president of Gucci in the late 1970’s. Following intense family legal battles, he launched his own independent brand, Paolo Gucci, in the 1980’s.
