The price for each item is already below the original purchase and tailoring costs, but we would love for you to wear them as a set.
The obi is handmade by a craftsman, woven from horsehair (the hair from a horse's tail) and lined with leather. It was worn once for about 5 hours at an event, with tabi socks.
It is durable.
This obi was purchased at the same time as the yukata, which is listed separately and was designed by Takano Hanami.
It was purchased from a kimono wholesaler in Muromachi, Kyoto, for approximately 55,000 yen, close to the wholesale price.
