Built-in handle with hanging hole. Functional and ornamental kitchen accent. Manufacturer: Produced by Wilton Products, Inc. out of Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. Design Features: It displays a central 6-point star/flower motif surrounded by a ring of interlocking circles and a distinct sawtooth, spiked outer gear edge. The handle is patterned with a cross-hatch texture and includes a hanging loop for wall display. Era: Typically dates from the 1950s to the 1970s.Function: Features a tri-footed base on the reverse side to elevate hot cookware and protect countertops, though these are also highly popular as mid-century farmhouse wall decorations.
