Brass Desk Accessory Magnifying Glass / Paperweight

A decorative and functional antique brass magnifying glass and paperweight, circa 1900. The cylindrical brass housing contains two large, convex lenses. Originally, these were part of the magnification system for instruments like nautical compasses, and these lenses were often repurposed. This magnifying glass has been reborn as a unique and practical desk accessory. The brass cylinder has been cleaned but not polished, preserving its antique patina and character.
