Equipped with all the tools you need to compose in the studio and perform on stage as the centerpiece of your setup. From vintage to modern synths, modular systems to your favorite DAWs, Hapax has the tools designed to maximize your creativity while sequencing and synchronizing all your gear.

Hapax features a dual-project architecture, allowing two independent projects to play simultaneously. Each of the two independent projects has its own dedicated OLED screen, allowing you to play one while the other is active.

This makes rearranging songs easier and transitions between projects smoother. Each project consists of 16 tracks, with 16 patterns per track. It is also the first hardware sequencer to fully support MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression), allowing you to record subtle performance gestures, slides, and articulations without loss of quality.

Hapax features a black aluminum chassis and weighs just 1,855g. With a concept similar to a DAW, it prioritizes live and step recording, making it ideal for use as your main sequencer.

Hapax is equipped with 9 encoders and 128 pads. Input terminals include MIDI x2, CV x2, and PEDAL x1. Output terminals include MIDI x4, CV/GATE x4, ENV x, and GATE x1. It also supports USB connection x2 (for PC, for controller) for input/output.

The length of a track can be changed from 1 step to 32 bars, and each track sends data to the selected MIDI output and channel, USB MIDI channel, or CV/GATE.

Recording is processed at a resolution of 192ppqn and includes modes such as looper-style, countdown, metronome options, and punch-in recording.
