Vintage 1940s William Skinner Turku Long Skirt S Silk Rayon Off White Gathered

Fantastic off white silk and rayon long skirt with William Skinner Turku fabric. Fitted waist and hip area then piles of  luscious gathers so when you walk it swings! My mother had a skirt like this in college for formal events in the early 1940s just before the War would take these fabrics for War production (uniforms and parachutes). Size Small Waist: 27 Hips: 36 Length: 37 Total hem measurement: 114 Overall excellent condition. This was in storage and we have not soaked or cleaned. Perfect to a tight sweater of long jacket.
