[D51 347 History]
1940-02: Newly built by Hitachi Ltd. Kasado Works. Assigned to Sapporo Railway Bureau, stationed in Tsuiyama.
1948-01: Tsuiyama -> Asahikawa Depot
1969-09: Asahikawa Depot -> Fukagawa Depot. Hokkaido specification cut-off smoke deflectors installed.
1971-06: Fukagawa Depot -> Asahikawa Depot
1972-01: Asahikawa Depot -> Fukagawa Depot
1975-06: Scrapped (Fukagawa Depot). One of the last steam locomotives in service.
