1938-08: Newly built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Hyogo. Assigned to Osaka Bureau, stationed at Umekoji Depot.
1939-11: Umekoji Depot → Miyahara Depot → Mojiku Depot → Mojiko Depot → Kagoshima Depot
1950-09: Kagoshima Depot → Mojiko Depot
1953-03: Kokura Factory - Installed Mon (Kokura Factory style) deflectors.
1954-04: Current - Mojiko Depot → Daibun Depot → Oita Driving Center
1968-09: Oita Driving Center → Miyazaki Depot
1970-05: Kagoshima Factory - General inspection.
1974-04: Designated for Class 1 Reserve, Miyazaki Depot.
1974-06: Scrapped (Miyazaki Depot). Mon deflectors reused for preserved locomotive C12241.
