Vintage authentic Le Creuset round enameled cast iron Dutch oven with matching lid. Made in France. Stamped #28 on the base, indicating a large 7.25-quart capacity. Features a beautiful, classic vibrant cobalt blue exterior glaze with the iconic traditional black composite knob on the lid.  Condition: The exterior enamel is in good vintage condition with bright color and minimal wear from normal use. The interior sand-colored enamel shows signs of previous cooking use with some surface staining, dark seasoning, and general dulling along the bottom. There are no large structural chips or cracks on the cooking surface, making it perfectly functional and ready for continued daily kitchen use.  Lid has some Scuffing / Dulled Enamel: On the top surface of the lid, there is some light cloudiness and scuffing from being stacked or stored over the years.  Great addition to a vintage cookware collection or a highly reliable daily workhorse pot for stews, large family braises, and sourdough baking. Ships quickly and securely padded.
