From short hikes to multi-day traverses. I was able to walk confidently on the dirt trails of Okutama and the rocky ridges of the Northern Alps. The exquisite balance of hardness and softness in the sole was a great help in various situations.

The official description states, Utilizes Mammut's unique Flextron® technology with a spring-shaped steel sole for effective cushioning, energy transfer, and stability, enabling natural foot movement. Indeed, the sole provided a unique cushioning and rebound that I could feel with every step.

The sock-like semi-inner shoe wraps around your feet up to above the ankle. The semi-inner is a snug fit. It takes a little knack to put on and take off, but it applies perfect pressure, protecting your feet from small stones and twigs.

My impression was that the sock-like inner provides reinforced ankle pressure, the sole has just the right amount of hardness and softness, and the breathability to escape the stuffiness inside the shoe during summer walks are all skillfully designed.

I felt it was a well-balanced design that supports long distances without fatigue, from short hikes to traverses with tent gear.

I usually wear a size EU 44.5-45 in La Sportiva, but these felt about 0.5 size larger. They were just a little too big for me, so I am selling them.

I have used them about 5 times. They were mainly used for ridge walks in the Yatsugatake area from spring to autumn. Please consider them if you are looking for a pair.
