Corningware Primavera Baking Dish with Blue Border & Yellow Tulip Accents Vtg
Corningware
The Corning Ware Primavera pattern is not considered one of the widely mass-produced popular patterns from CorningWare's peak eras. Instead, it is highly valued by collectors because it was an extremely short-lived, rare design released right at the end of the original Pyroceram era in the late 1990s. Pattern Popularity vs. Rarity The Household Names: When people think of mass-market, iconic CorningWare, they are usually referring to patterns like Blue Cornflower or Spice of Life. Millions of those pieces were made over decades. The Primavera Context: This pattern was introduced to coordinate with a matching Corelle dinnerware line released in 1999. Because Corning's consumer products division went through structural changes and bankruptcy shortly after, production of Primavera was cut very short. Collector Desirability: “I am assuming this was an extremely short lived CorningWare pattern... I have only seen it once, and will probably never see it again.”, as noted by CorningWare 411. Because few pieces exist in the wild, its relative obscurity actually makes it a fun, prized find for vintage enthusiasts today. See pictures Good vintage condition .
