On a cold night, February 5th, of a certain year, a cat was walking along Tanukikoji in Sapporo.
Early February in Sapporo is extremely cold. There are days when the temperature drops below -10 degrees Celsius.
It's the time of year when consecutive true winter days occur, with the highest temperature being below freezing.
Amidst this, a cat was walking at the edge of the Tanukikoji arcade, a place in the heart of Sapporo that exudes a nostalgic atmosphere, where the roof ends.
It was around 8 PM. I noticed it was a cat! I pointed my camera and tried to get closer, but the cat kept walking away.
I decided to take a picture from afar and try to get closer, but I couldn't close the distance.
The slightly S-shaped curve of its tail as it walked away is very cute.
