The Roland SP-808 is a sampling workstation released in 1998. It uses Zip disks for recording media, allowing for long sampling times. With built-in effects, real-time performance via pads, and a sequencer, this is a legendary machine capable of everything from music production to live performance. Original price was 130,000 yen.
It's a unique sampler that combines a groovebox and a sampler.
