Description
Ambrotype Antique Photo Lot of 2: Husband and Wife with Interesting Handwritten Notes.
These are from the mid-1850s to late 1860s. Both ambrotypes are clear and sharp, and this couple looks wealthy but a bit scary!
The wife is in a half case in poor condition, and the husband, wearing a top hat, is in a full case that has separated as shown.
Both cases feature the same design of a vase with two birds and vines all around the center.
Both have handwritten notes as shown! They were sold together to keep them together even after death.
A wonderful addition to any advanced collection of antique photography!
Please note that the colors may appear different from the actual product depending on your device. Thank you for your understanding before purchasing.
