Spiegel (Spiegel) of West Germany (W. Germany) was a German brand that once offered high-quality optical equipment and desk accessories.
The SPIEGEL DESK Sta L. 2000 4x magnifying glass you are inquiring about is a product with the following characteristics:
Product Nature: A high-quality desktop magnifying glass (desk loupe) designed for professional work and hobbyist precision tasks such as stamp collecting (philately), detailed drafting, check and seal verification, and inspection of jewelry and watches.
Sta L. 2000: This is likely the product model number or series name. In the vintage market, it is popular as an interior decoration or stationery item due to its functional beauty, and is sometimes handled by vintage雑貨 stores such as the Japanese select shop zakka store towi.
Magnification 4x: Magnifies the subject by 4 times. It has minimal visual distortion and can be used by simply looking down at it on a desk, making it suitable for long work sessions.
Manufacturing Background: The W. Germany stamp is a testament to its vintage status, indicating it was manufactured in West Germany before German reunification (1990).
