This is a Shusse Kabuto (helmet for success), said to bring good fortune and career advancement when displayed for Tango no Sekku (Children's Day).
This is Masamune's helmet.
It comes as a set with traditional Japanese armor, a black helmet, and a Japanese sword.
It is made of iron and is heavy.
The size, including the cushion, is approximately 27cm in height and 30cm in width.
I used to display it in the tokonoma (alcove) for Tango no Sekku, but I am selling it due to moving.
