WINNER 15x Gold Frame Magnifier - Ideal for Field Observation of Mineral Collecting! High Grade
16.50 $
Description
This is a new, Heisei-era deadstock item.
It's a highly portable type where the lens can be stored in a brass gold frame, making it ideal for observing minerals and gemstones, and inspecting precision equipment.
The KN G40-1570 is a WINNER brand gold frame retractable loupe (15x magnification).
I think it's a good size that won't feel heavy even when hung around your neck during field observations.
This is a type where the lens can be removed by turning a screw for cleaning and maintenance.
★About Magnification★
For observing and appraising small items indoors, especially minerals and gemstones, 20x or higher is recommended. However, for outdoor nature observation only, high magnification narrows the field of view and can be inconvenient, so around 10x to 15x is recommended.
