Although details are unknown as this item was inherited, it is an Oshima Tsumugi silk kimono with a very intricate and modern pattern, believed to be the rare and labor-intensive warikomi kasuri (interrupted kasuri) technique.
This is a masterpiece that combines the deep texture unique to antiques with a geometric design that can be stylishly worn even today.

Condition: Some basting threads remain, indicating it is in near-unused condition. No noticeable stains or damage are visible, but we are offering it to those who understand that it is an antique and stored item.
Features: Very fine kasuri (ikat) matching is applied, showcasing the high skill of the artisan. It is characterized by the lightness and smooth texture unique to Oshima Tsumugi.
