Sony Handycam DCR-SR68 80GB Camcorder Silver - For Parts/Repair - Blur On Zoom

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING: This camera is being sold FOR PARTS OR REPAIR due to a specific zooming issue. The Main Issue: The camera turns on and captures a clear picture at its default wide-angle view. However, when you attempt to use the zoom, the lens fails to focus and the picture gets completely blurry. Once you zoom back out to the normal, wide position, the picture regains focus and becomes clear again. Power & Accessories: There is NO battery included. It has been tested and powers on perfectly using the included wall power cable. Cosmetic Condition: Being an older, vintage camera, it shows clear signs of use, including several scuffs, scratches, and light wear across the outer body. The 2.7-inch flip-out LCD display screen is also a little loose at the hinge, but it still displays the picture and functions. The 80GB internal hard drive and the card reader work fine for recording if you keep the lens at its default wide position. Selling strictly as-is for parts, a fix-it project, or for someone who only needs a fixed wide-angle camera. No returns.
