Replica Sword, Ceremonial Sword, German M1884/98 Bayonet, Mauser Kar98k
108.23 $
Description
This is a very old bayonet. This is a replica sword without a blade.
It is likely a bayonet for the Kar98k. It is said that normally German domestic models do not have a muzzle ring, but export models have a full muzzle ring shape. There are no markings or stamps. It is unknown why this bayonet is in Japan, whether it was captured, from the Battle of Qingdao, or the Second Sino-Japanese War, but it is a historically romantic item.
The button on the hilt of the main body can be pressed. There is rust. Otherwise, it is generally sound.
The scabbard has no tension and the bayonet slides out easily. The scabbard has a lot of rust and damage, but it is still intact.
As this is a very old item, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive.
