For sale is a collectible vintage Sorna manual-wind watch from the late 1960s. This Swiss-made timepiece features a rare mystery dial design with a golden skyscraper, radio tower, and a floating airplane on a rotating disc serving as the seconds hand. The gold-tone case features a polished bezel. The screw-down stainless steel case back is fully stamped with serial number 12231 and original factory text: GUARANTEED ELECTRONICALLY TIMED / RADAR TESTED, LIFETIME MAINSPRING, SHOCKRESISTING, ANTIMAGNETIC, and BASE METAL CASE / SWISS QUALITY. Fitted on a clean black nylon strap. Condition: Movement: Swiss manual-wind movement. Tested and running smoothly. Case & Crystal: Light vintage wear to the gold plating. Back engravings are crisp.
