This is a replica sword.

The blade has been regularly maintained, so I believe there is only minimal age-related deterioration.
There is no looseness in the fittings, but there is some age-related wear.
The scabbard has been used and has some scratches. The koiguchi (scabbard opening) has been repaired with wood, so it fits snugly.
The handle shows signs of use and has faded despite being cleaned with mild detergent.

The handle is made of paulownia wood and is sturdy, but the blade has no groove (hi) and the balance feels forward-heavy, making it unsuitable for iaido practice. Please consider this as a decorative art sword that can be swung minimally.

A sword bag is also included.

Please only consider purchasing if you understand the above points. Feel free to ask for more detailed information or if you have any questions.
