These are shoes for stream climbing, created by incorporating Montbell's unique ideas into tabi (Japanese split-toe socks) and waraji (traditional Japanese straw sandals).
Like waraji, pulling the laces from the heel side achieves an excellent fit. The inside of the toe is split like tabi, so your feet are less likely to slip, providing a comfortable fit. Additionally, the ankle area uses soft and highly fitting Climaprene® [chloroprene rubber], which does not hinder ankle movement during stream climbing and prevents sand and small pebbles from entering. The outsole is made of polypropylene felt.
Used for stream climbing for about 6 hours over one season. I was very satisfied with them, but I have stopped stream climbing activities, so I would like to pass them on to someone who can use them.
There are no holes or tears.
