These stream-trekking shoes are created by incorporating Montbell's unique ideas into tabi (Japanese split-toe socks) and waraji (traditional Japanese straw sandals). By pulling the laces from the heel side, similar to waraji, they achieve an exceptional fit. The inside of the toe box is split like tabi, preventing blisters and ensuring a comfortable feel. Additionally, the ankle area uses soft and highly fitting Clima-Prene® [chloroprene rubber], which does not hinder ankle movement during stream trekking and prevents sand and small pebbles from entering. The outsole is made of durable polypropylene felt.


Condition
Purchased in 2025 and used only once. I am selling them because the size did not fit.
As shown in the photos, there is some minor signs of use, so please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about this.
As these are stored and inspected by an amateur, there may be minor scratches that could not be captured in the photos.
