Product Description
These are stream climbing shoes created by incorporating Montbell's unique ideas into tabi (Japanese split-toe socks) and waraji (traditional Japanese straw sandals). Like waraji, the shoelaces are pulled from the heel side to achieve an excellent fit. The inside of the toe box is split for each toe like tabi, making them less prone to blisters and providing a comfortable fit. Additionally, the ankle area uses soft and highly fitting Climaprene® [chloroprene rubber], which does not hinder ankle movement during stream climbing and prevents sand and small pebbles from entering. The outsole uses durable polypropylene felt.
