-Product Description

These are river trekking shoes created by incorporating Montbell's unique ideas into tabi (Japanese split-toe socks) and waraji (traditional straw sandals). Similar to waraji, the shoelaces can be pulled from the heel side to achieve an excellent fit. The inside of the toe box is split like tabi, preventing your feet from slipping and providing a comfortable fit. Additionally, the ankle area uses soft and highly fitting Climaprene® [chloroprene rubber], which does not hinder ankle movement during river trekking and prevents sand and small pebbles from entering. The outsole uses polypropylene felt.
