This is a tsuba, a sword fitting for a Japanese sword. I believe it is made of copper. It did not react to a magnet. It comes with a certificate of authenticity and a wooden box.
The lid of the wooden box is warped and difficult to close.
The thickness is approximately 0.5 cm. Please consider all measurements as approximate as they were taken by an amateur.
The certificate of authenticity states Yohō Tō Tsuba (四方透鍔). Please check the images for further details.
