VINTAGE KALT 52mm Collapsible Rubber Lens Hood Shade - NOS / Excellent Condition

This is a vintage, screw-in KALT Collapsible Rubber Lens Shade (often called a lens hood) in the common 52mm size. Kalt was a well-respected brand for photography accessories, and this style of hood is highly sought after by film photographers for its practicality and classic aesthetic. Key Features & Condition: * Brand/Model: KALT Collapsible Rubber Lens Shade / Lens Hood. * Size: 52mm (Screw-in filter thread). * Condition: The rubber hood itself appears to be in excellent, New Old Stock (NOS) condition—soft, flexible, and free of the typical hardening or cracking seen in older rubber. The metal screw-in ring is clean and threads smoothly. * Function: The hood collapses down for storage and can be extended to three different stages to block stray light (lens flare) when shooting with wide-angle, standard, or short telephoto lenses. *Comes in its original KALT blue box. Note: The box shows wear, tearing, and shelf marks consistent with its age, but it has protected the hood well.
