VOX Bass Amplifier AP2-BS Made in Japan

Compact headphone amplifier for bass guitar.
Used only a little and no longer needed, so I am selling it. Operation has been confirmed. While sound quality is subjective, I believe it's of sufficient quality for practice. Requires 2 AAA batteries. Also works with rechargeable batteries like eneloop.
It also has built-in drum patterns, making it ideal for practice.

Excerpt from manufacturer's description:
The Bass type comes with added rhythm functions. Furthermore, the 180-degree rotating foldable plug mechanism and auto power-off function significantly improve usability. With amPlug, you can achieve authentic sound in the simplest way, supporting bassists in various situations, anywhere.

- Simulates vacuum tube amp circuits with a completely analog specification for a luxurious sound that prioritizes audio quality.

While retaining the multi-stage gain circuit with a completely analog specification, further enhancements have been made to reproduce the sound of original vacuum tube amplifiers. This includes responsiveness to differences in guitars and pickups, guitar volume knob operation, and the ambiance of speaker cabinets. You will experience an evolved sound thanks to a carefully selected circuit configuration and components. The Bass model, in addition to its wide-range design, newly incorporates VOX's original Bassilator, reproducing the powerful low-end characteristic of bass amplifiers.

- 180-degree rotating foldable plug mechanism

The plug that inserts into the guitar can be rotated up to 180 degrees in 5 steps, allowing you to adjust it to a comfortable viewing angle according to your guitar. It can also be stored more compactly.

- Significantly expanded sound variations, including effects.

The second generation amPlug includes various new features. To provide greater sound variation, each amp model offers three modes. The Bass model allows you to switch between three input gain settings to accommodate the high output of active basses. Additionally, the Bass model includes 9 built-in rhythm patterns. With its diverse sounds and functions, which are beyond what you would expect from its compact size, more authentic bass playing is now possible.
