Luggage Chest Trunk Basket Case Storage Bamboo Craft Black Lacquer Large Japanese Retro

This is a luggage chest (tsuzura).
It has a heavy, dignified construction with a black lacquer finish and crests.
This is an old item from the mid-Showa period.
It was brought as part of dowry items, used to store zabuton cushions.
There were originally two, but one has already sold, so this is the last one.

Size: (approx.)
With lid on
Width 65 x Depth 66.5 x Height 43 (cm)
Measurements are taken by an amateur.

As this is an old item, there are scratches, dirt, stains, etc. due to age.
There are cracks and peeling or areas that seem like they might peel on the surface, and stains on the inside.
The lid can be closed properly.

It will be wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped with a notice.
It is being listed because I no longer have space for it due to redecorating, and the zabuton cushions inside will be discarded.
I hope you will use it as an antique furnishing or for storage.
The price is high due to shipping costs.
