Each piece is clearly hallmarked with the Roden Bros 'R' lion and 'B' mark, alongside 'STERLING' and a patent date of Jan 22, 1901. Originally retailed by Marshall Field & Company, this set comes in its original yellow cloth storage roll. The silver exhibits a rich natural patina from age, which can be polished to a high shine or left as is for a vintage aesthetic.
