Bizen Osafune School (Choji-midare with straight hamon)
The hamon (temper line) of the Bizen Osafune school features choji-midare (clove-shaped irregular tempering).
Fine straight hamon lines are interspersed within the choji-midare.
Slightly irregular thread-like patterns can be seen here and there.
This is unusual for a replica sword.
* There is absolutely no rattling or looseness in the tsuba (hand guard) or koiguchi (scabbard mouth).
Suitable for Iaijutsu, Kenjutsu, practice with a secondary sword in Nito-ryu (two-sword style), cosplay, or display.
