Decorated with distinctive green trim and THE classic decorated Christmas tree center, Christmas Tree is sure to delight holiday after holiday. Manufactured in England of durable earthenware, these cups and saucers are both dishwasher and microwave safe. Temperature Shocks: To extend the lifespan of your dinnerware and prevent crazing (fine lines in the glaze) over time, avoid exposing the pieces to sudden extreme temperature changes, like moving them directly from the freezer to a hot microwave. Spode first introduced the iconic Christmas Tree pattern in 1938, but did not transition to modern dishwasher-safe glazes until the 1980s.
