Iai Practice Sword (Nagamitsu Replica)
This is an iai practice sword that is a replica of Bizen Osafune Nagamitsu. Nagamitsu's swords were favored by samurai warlords for their strength, durability, sharpness, and beautiful form.
They were possessed by figures such as Ashikaga Yoshiaki, Miyoshi Nagateru, Oda Nobunaga, and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Today, they are designated as Important Cultural Properties.

This sword features a double hamon (temper line), with a small wave pattern within the choji midare pattern, which appears and disappears depending on the light. It also has a groove (hi) which makes the blade thinner, producing a pleasant ringing sound when swung. The blade's straightness is easy to discern. The leather wrap on the tsuka (handle) is smooth and fits comfortably in the hand.
This sword is suitable for iaido practice, display, and cosplay. Please take this opportunity to add it to your collection.
