AUTHENTIC MODELS / Antiques / Rocking Chairs / European Furniture

This is a rocking chair from AUTHENTIC MODELS, imported by Art House 21, a specialty store for European imported furniture.

AUTHENTIC MODELS was founded in the Netherlands in 1968. The company's philosophy is built on the spirit of good old adventure, and they create original furniture and decorative objects.

Even today, 50 years after its founding, the spirit of founder HARING PIEBENGA (always challenging original product development and design, taking pride in cultivated skills and their own products) is carried on.
Their methods are primarily handmade, and even for products that involve machine work, the final touches are done by hand, reflecting their uncompromising attitude and craftsmanship.
Their products, which advocate for the necessity of nostalgic and curiosity-provoking beautiful things, are themed around furniture and accessories (maps, marine exploration, etc.) used on luxury liners.
