Bold Ocean Shell Necklace

Wonderful colors on this fantastic vintage shell necklace. Woven in a round weave with orange, tan, cream and white shells. Wear it to the beach, on vacation, for a cruise or pair it with a Hawaiian print for a luau.   Vintage, exact era unknown. Crafted with skill using traditional fishing line and hook closure, this was not made for the tourist market, but for a true islander. In wonderful vintage condition and ready to wear. A highly unusual piece, these are hard to find, especially in this condition. Probably crafted by first peoples in Australia, given the shells.   Arrived into my life with the other necklace shown, most likely a wedding set.   21.5 inches long  Stored in a smoke free home, will be sent with care.
