Jizo Statue, Approx. 36cm Stone Statue [Purchased 20 years ago and displayed in home hallway]

Purchased about 20 years ago. I fell in love with it at a pottery fair near Kitakata, Fukushima, where I was on a ramen tour.
I've forgotten the artist's name, but I was told that a sculptor famous for large stone Buddha statues, unable to carve large pieces in his later years, created this smaller-sized work.

It has never been displayed outdoors. It was placed in the hallway of my home.

My parents' house is being demolished, and I will no longer be able to store it, so I am listing it for sale.

As it is carved from natural stone, there are some uneven textures due to the nature of the stone.
Please check the photos.

I would like to pass it on to someone who will cherish it, or to someone who can research the sculptor and appreciate its value.

It will be shipped wrapped in a blanket and bubble wrap. It is small but quite heavy, so shipping costs will be high. While there are limits to discounts, I am open to negotiation.
