This is a Royal Doulton Richelieu five piece place setting featuring fine bone china made in England with a distinctive gold scrolled rim for refined presentation.  Ideal for formal dining or tea service.  This discontinued pattern was produced between 1959 and 1978.  The set shown includes a dinner plate (approx. 10.6), a salad plate (8), bread and butter plate (6.5”), and a teacup on a saucer (6.1).  The delicate design features white bone china with intricate gold scrolls and leaves.  Hand washing is highly recommended to preserve the gold trim.  This beautiful vintage bone china has been used gently a time or two.  The plates have minor utinsel marks with no crazing, cracks or chips.  The gold trim is in excellent condition.
