Description
This is a netsuke carved from boxwood. A mythical creature is carved on it.
It appears to be wood carving. Is it a Guardian Lion-Dog At Shinto Shrine? It seems like a mythical creature. It is intimidating to ward off evil spirits. There are about two holes for threading a cord. The carving itself is good. I believe the wood is boxwood. Please check the images.
