This is a 2-piece set of a Tōshōdō Iai-katana and a navy blue sword bag!
This Iai-katana has a blade length of 2 shaku 3 sun 3 bu (approximately 70.7 cm), which is a standard size! The ruggedness of the Guribori koshirae and the 3 cm wide blade evoke the image of a Dōdōtanuki-style sword!
This sword weighs approximately 1 kg when drawn, despite its blade length, so it is recommended for intermediate to advanced users for Iai practice!
It's perfect for muscle training with suburi (swinging practice)!
The blade has a straight hamon (temper line), Guribori koshirae, and a black lacquer saya. While not flashy at first glance, it's a historically-inspired koshirae that conveys the strength and practicality of the era!
No rattling! Good wind cutting sound! The koiguchi (mouth of the saya) is slightly loose!
Unfortunately, there is a small dent (approx. 3mm) near the monouchi (tip area)! Please refer to photo 13 for details!

There are minor imperfections such as fine sink marks on the blade, scuffs and dents on the saya, signs of use on the tsuka (handle), and general age-related deterioration, but these do not affect its use for Iai practice! This sword is still ready for action!
The navy blue sword bag is a used item!
It is in beautiful condition overall, but please consider it as a bonus!
